Best Fish and Chip shop in Whangarei. I asked for two Snappers and minimum chips. Well I got 3 snappers and had left over chips. The week before I got 4 snapper. Admittedly one was small. The batter was yummy and crunchy and the fish was cooked to perfection, just cooked and super soft, in other words it just melted in my mouth. Great service, always with smiles and pleasant conversation. Thank you Whau Valley Takeaways.

Great restaurant the 9.50 pack was bigger Than I thought it would be with fast, great service and a wonderful meal I say it's a wonderful spot.

They only do takeaway. They are a bit pricey but so worth it.

We ordered two sausages, a pineapple fritter, 1 scoop of chips and a cheeseburger. You can't really go wrong with sausages. The burger and fritter were averagely good. The crinkle cut chips were inedible as they had no salt on them, and were quite soft.

Beautifully made food especially the fish we got fish multiple times over our away it was consistent in the way it was cooked. Will definitely be back.
